How to Make Masala Chai

How to Brew


For 2 Cups

Place 1 mug of water, 1 tsp of chai masala, tbsp of black tea, 2 tsp of jaggery/sugar (optional) into a pan. Place on high heat and stir regularly. if you want an extra kick, grate some fresh ginger!

Once your chai is strongly bubbling, add 1 cup of milk. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Watch out for your chai overflowing! Reduce the heat and continue to boil.

 

 

 

Pour through a fine sieve and enjoy your cup of Amala Chai!
